Infatuation...It has a way of lingering at the corner of your heart.The way it plays 'Conquer' with the heart and the mind.
Mind says " No! It's not worth it!"
Heart says "Why?? Why not?"
Mind says " Think...THINK you fool! Think of betrayal, of hurt and despair. Eventually this will all fade away. Your blue skies will turn grey. Your blooming flowers will die. There will no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. There will be no rainbow. There will be anguish and anger and bitterness and jealousy and...."
Heart says "Jealousy?" (looks up amongst the cloud) Jealousy.
Once again the raging seas of hormones are gallant to these words they calm down sinking along cargo ships of false promises of affection, tenderness and care to join all the once hopeful shipwrecks down below in the deep and dark....
