What's under demiciated? - Bedtime Stories-

That's KL at night from the top of KL Tower.

Probably because my life is stashed away under a cupboard right now, but... quotes seem like the most interesting things to me.

That's probably the signs of decaying brains, wit dies out the last. Haha...

Some fun ones...:
  • "I have a husband now," says Edie.
    Susan asks,"Whose?"
(Yeah, I know that one is from an advertisement, and I don't like Desperate Housewives... but what de heck?)
  • This one is from a Chinese movie trailer, Love Matters.
    "Are you really Benny's father?"
"Do I look like Benny's mother?"

(Sorie, I know that was lame.)
  • "Cover her face: mine eyes dazzle: she died young."
    The Duchess of Malfi
re-quoted in Sleeping Murder by Agatha Christie.
    Pretty one huh...?

Yeapz, that's pretty much it all.... till next time.

"You don't alter Vera to fit you, you alter yourselve to fit Vera,"

said Kate Hudson's character in Bride Wars.

Oh, how I would agree..........if I had the money.
And the body.

Too bad my weighing scales and I are not on talking terms.

This story is dedicated to a friend (if you can call him that) who thinks my blog is boring cos it doesn't have stories.

It was a hazy dark night. The shutters swung back and forth in response to the to the wind's call. Cold and dark, a little girl curled herself up in the corner of her dingy room, trying to drown the shrill screams and the deep cackles. A gunshot, and all was silent.

Several seconds later, all windows in the village were brightly illuminated by oil lamps on the windowsill. There were cries, "Someone, FETCH THE DOCTOR!!"

But the doctor was to late. His footsteps as light as Legolas and precision as sharp as M. Poirot could not save the little girl's father.

"Darn it ", said Davy, the baker next door. "It's a shame ol Inspector had to go."

All heads hung in condolence. A depression overtook them. A sudden sadness. But it didn't last long.

All the sudden, a burst of flames in the colour of courage and knowledge arose. The little girl found herself in a circle of familiar faces, friends. In all the fuss and squabble, amidst the talk, arguments and accusations, she proudly pointed her finger across the circle and in a loud voice proclaimed, " I think he's the mafia!"

You may now laugh.

"We keep on waiting, waiting on the world to....."

Oh, shut up John Mayor. Your song bores me to death.

Wassup with waiting..? Why must we wait...? What's up with patience...? Who even invented it..?

Listen up, (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE)

I don't want to wait anymore. I am sick of waiting. And when one of 'em arrived you ask me to wait some more...? HELL NO!!!

I am not John Mayor. I am a girl bored to wits end.

If I was John Mayor;

I keep on waiting,
Waiting for National Service,
Keep on waiting,
Waiting for a call from UWC/ISKL,
Keep on waiting,
Waiting for SPM results,
Keep on waiting,
Waiting till I am six feet under....

(YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE),
You still want me to wait, don't you?

Guess what, I never left. Am still waiting.
