Don't look at me like that. I am not alone.
Lasting on 1 1/2 hours of oxygen power, Jeffrey, Shen Chung, Jonjon, April and I attempt the "Hunt For The (non-bloody) Orchid(s)".
But first, one must acknowledge priorities. We went to lunch. At Well Cook Gourmet, I met Hannah and Norman (gambling as usual).
Conclusion: Fried laksa rocks and I got a green bag from Hannah. :)
The Search Begins.
Evergreen failed us. They did not have the ones we wanted. So did the other two flower shops. But the one of the shopkeepers was so sweet and helpful.
So we scooted to off to Mydin, while laughing at Jay Chou or some superhero. I dunno lar.. I was drunk on fatigue you see..
Sidetracking here. WHY IS THE SUN SO HOT? I mean seriously, what's his problem?

We arrive at Mydin and this is where the fun begins. 5 people pretty clueless about the place itself try searching for flowers. We walk aimlessly in the shopping centre the suddenly,
"Eh, KOMPANGS!" April exclaims, picking up a big one and beats it in no specific rhythm.
"Little kompang!" I joined her, beating it too.
April points upwards, "COWBOY HATS!!"
"Oh cool! Black hat!!" I picked it up and fashioned it on my head. "I like that one," says Jonjon.
"I like this one," says Jeff, picking up a checkered one. Totally his style.
We walk aimlessly again. I picked up a fake Samurai sword, turn to Jeff and say, "Hajimemashite!"
You get the point, don't you? We got very distracted with the fascinating items there.
Then we ronda ronda a little more and poof* flowers appear! We go frantic and all the sudden, Shen Chung looks into a flower and says, "Rowena, ROWENA? Where are you?"
Then we all repeat this act poking through flowers and rubbing and turning over ceramic bottles while calling for Jeff.
Shen Chung played Transformers with a rolled up mattress, we raced each other to aisles, April even danced a Bollywood move to be used when we you lose your girl.

After paying, April was to be sent home first. The suddenly, they decided to go to a haunted house. Where? I not going to tell you. Mwahahahahaha!
Jeff and Jonjon were too chicken to go in. ;) So April, Shen Chung and I ventured in. The house had a portrait of the lady of the house there along with several other pictures. There was a play house, strewn with things... the bedrooms, were beautiful but the best was the bathroom, a jacuzzi and tonnes of glass with paint slashed all over the place, upstairs, the rooms were small and another locked. Didn't know what we would find there. We explored the whole house upside down and inside out!
Finally Jonjon and Jeff made a daring move. They only made it to the bathroom. Then, we left.
We kept wondering what is in the locked room. A drug junkie maybe... a dead body?
"What if we found a dead body and called the police? We will get arrested for trespassing rite?" I asked.
"Maybe the police will look at us and say 'Y'all know too much', then shoot us." Shen Chung concluded. I think he watched too many Hong Kong movies.
Yet something April said kept me wondering. She insisted that something must have happened before the owners left the house, or else why would they leave a beautiful portrait and family pictures all around. Something must have happened. Don't you think so?
